A gorgeous 26km bike ride from Glenorchy to Kinloch, a delicious platter lunch and a 1hr or 2hr guided kayak trip around the head of Lake Wakatipu, then relax until the boat back to Glenorchy. Start times are suggestions.

RIDE
You can collect your bike from The Trading Post in Glenorchy any time from 8.30am.
EAT
Lunch service starts at 12pm. For details of our sharing lunch platter please see our menu. A vegan alternative is available.
Please note that the last 9kms of the road to Kinloch is gravel.
KAYAK
The 1hr kayak trip starts at 1.30pm, the 2hr trip starts at 3pm. All kayaking equipment will be provided but we suggest guests bring a change of clothes, a sun hat to cover the back of your neck, insect repellent and sunscreen.
RETURN
The boat from Kinloch to Glenorchy leaves at 5.45pm. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Kinloch restaurant, stroll the nearby nature walk and relax while waiting - an earlier return may be possible depending on demand and availability.

There are sandflies in all areas with beech trees near water on the west coast, insect repellent is effective against them and is sold in Glenorchy.
Prices are based on a heritage double room and 2 people sharing. You can wake up to mountain and lake views from your bed for an additional $10 per person per night.
