Climate
The seasons are very distinct in the southern part of New Zealand. In the summer there’s up to 16 hours of daylight and warm dry days, with temperatures between 10°C and 30°C (50 to 86°F). Winters are usually cool and clear, ranging from -6°C to 15°C (21 to 60°F), with snow typically staying on the mountains and rarely affecting our roads.
The days are often changeable so expect anything from snow to sun to rain to wind.
